Kwown for her beautiful landscape,the Taj Mahal, IIM's and IIT's,
A land of extremes from beautiful gardens to people relieving themselves on trees,
A subcontinent of Raja's, Rani's and glorious history,
At present every politician is a real mystery,
The nation with the most cultures and languages under one roof,
Being the second most populated country that's the proof,
A country where beautiful women are easy to find,
And the men have cricket always on their mind,
A land of diversity, where the unity amongst people is strong,
The hard work and patriotism of the nation has carried her along,
She has developed over the years, with the markets soaring high,
Every Indian is proud when the tri color flutters in the Sky.

Faith is all about believing in things or people you can never see,

This person has always been with me, be it joy or misery,

When life’s so pleasant and going so fine,

He's always the reason for the smile of mine,

When life is tough and in a total dismay,

He's been around to hold my hand and show me the way,

I do not expect much nor do I expect miracles,

For he helps those who help themselves,

I follow my conscience and try to do what I should,

He's taught me to always fight evil, with good,

I know I have offended him, with the sins of mine,

But he forgives me and listens to me, all the time,

When people offend me or cause me harm,

He's always taught me to be patient and calm,

He exists not only for me, but for all of us,

Listen up people, Beware of the pranksters,
They call themselves the green house gangsters,
When the whole city sleeps and the stars are out,
Thats when you'll hear them scream and shout,

Minute after minute, hour after hour,
You'll find these guys conquering every tank and tower,
They care a damn about the others and girls are of no use,
They just have fun with their smokes and booze.

You may have heard about their college and all the scams,
These guys care a F**K and have never feared the word "exams",
They are forever so cool, forever so calm
Always happy , with abundance of charm

They might be busy through the week or may be out of sight,
But they make sure to meet each other every Saturday night,
They've had so much fun together and wanna know why,
They value each others friendship and thats apart from getting high.

Perhaps bad luck had come along your way,

A Sonnet On Our favorite drink….

For Seven years you’ve been blended to a taste so fine.
You’ve always been around for us at any time.
A good companion, who comes at a very low price.
You bring people together from sunset to sunrise.
We bang on the shutters for you when the shops are closed by night.
We care a damn if we are unable to get a coke or sprite.
You’ve brought feeling to our lives, at moments of desperation.
For most of us, you have been our mentor and our inspiration
We drink to our pain or joy, one peg at a time
But no matter how much we drink, with no hangovers, things are just fine
They talk of Gandhi being the father of our Nation,
To us you are, the father of our thoughts and creation,
We don’t give up on things, even if we think our lives have sunk
There’s always a solution to a problem when we have you dear Old Monk
